The European National Cup ended

Today, the last round in Sotogrande was played and the winner of the European National Cup was revealed. The title was won by England and Tom Sloman the best individually, was also from England.

All in all, the Estonian team played 6 strokes better than last year. Kevin Christopher Jegers, who played 77 strokes today, was individually the best placed, and ended up in the T41st position. Five holes before the end Kevin remained in par, but the mistakes of the last holes cost a little. Joonas Juan Turba, who made a total of -2, was the third of the day, making him the third best of the day. All in all, Joonas has +27 and T56 place. Carl Hellat was playing 82 today and was placed T59 in total. Mattias Varjuns play-day today was +8 (with a par-4 slipping on 9), and he was ranked 66th.

Kevin’s comment on the last lap: “The last round went the same as the previous. Nothing great happened. I came to the competition with a definite goal that I could not achieve, and that is why this contest was a bit of a let down for me. ”

Joonas’s comment: “Today I was stable, the iron shot worked, I got myself in the right places and the drops that fell, fell fortunate. Didn’t make big mistakes like in previous days. ”
