{"id":34002,"date":"2019-06-18T13:19:03","date_gmt":"2019-06-18T10:19:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.golf.ee\/?p=34002\/"},"modified":"2019-06-18T13:19:03","modified_gmt":"2019-06-18T10:19:03","slug":"baltic-champions-cup","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.golf.ee\/en\/baltic-champions-cup\/","title":{"rendered":"Baltic Champions Cup"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The Estonian, Latvian and Lithuanian federations decided at the winter meeting that this fall the first Baltic Champions Cup golf competition will be held, where there will be 12 golfers from each country. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The competition will be held this year at P\u00e4rnu Bay on September 15th.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">National teams are formed from the best national championships:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li2\"><span class=\"s2\">2 best men &#8211; Estonian Championship<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\"><span class=\"s2\">2 best women &#8211; Estonian Championship<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\"><span class=\"s2\">1 man &#8211; Winner of Mid-Amateur Championship<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\"><span class=\"s2\">1 woman &#8211; Winner of Mid-Amateur Championship<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\"><span class=\"s2\">1 man &#8211; (50+) Winner of the Championship<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\"><span class=\"s2\">1 woman &#8211; (50+) Winner of the Championship<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\"><span class=\"s2\">1 man &#8211; (60+) Winner of Senior Championship<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\"><span class=\"s2\">1 woman &#8211; (60+) Winner of Senior Championship<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\"><span class=\"s2\">1 young man &#8211; (U18) Winner of Junior Championship<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\"><span class=\"s2\">1 young woman &#8211; (U18) Winner of Junior Championship<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The format is match play and is played against two opponents at a time. The winner&#8217;s team will have the traveling trophy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The next competition on Estonian soil will be held in 2022.
