The Estonian Inter-Club Golf Championships ended today in Saaremaa. Of the four winners’ trophies, three went to Estonian Golf & Country Club, only the men’s seniors had a small misfortune and the first place went to Tartu Golf Club.<\/p>\n

Men<\/strong><\/p>\n

In an exciting men’s final, the winner was decided on the last green. Estonian Golf & Country Club won the final 3:2 over Niitv\u00e4lja Golf Club. The EGCC team included: Janar Toomesso, Henry M\u00e4gi, Ken-Marten Soo, Rauno Pikk, Richard Teder, Ruut Kangust. Team captain Rain Uusk\u00fcla and advisor Peep Tammem\u00e4e. Niitv\u00e4lja team: Carl Hellat, Gert Holland, Kevin Christopher Jegers, Markus Varjun, Mattias Varjun and Ralf Johan Kivi. Team captain Joel Rothberg. Results<\/a><\/p>\n

The bronze medals went to Reval Golf Club for the first time, who beat Rae Golf Club 3:2. The team for Reval GC was made up of Erko T\u00e4ht, Derek Vaide, Janno Sild, Joonas Juan Turba, Mark Elster and Rene Aguraiuja. Team captain Heiti Elster and advisor Rasmus Reimo. Results<\/a><\/p>\n

Six extra holes were played for fifth place, with captain Viljar P\u00e4rnam\u00e4e bringing home the win for Tartu Golf Club, beating Allan Roosipuu. Valgeranna Golf Club had to settle for sixth place on this occasion. Results<\/a><\/p>\n

The men of Otep\u00e4\u00e4 Golf & Country Club were worthy of seventh place, beating Saaremaa Golf & Country Club, who enjoyed the advantage of their home course, 3:2. Results<\/a><\/p>\n

Women<\/strong><\/p>\n

The women’s class was won by Estonian Golf & Country Club, who beat Niitv\u00e4lja Golfiklubi 2:1 in a tight final. The EGCC team was made up of Anete Liis Adul, Elizaveta Sofia Reemet, Isabel Sirel and Lil Kangust. Team captain Rain Uusk\u00fcla and advisor Peep Tammem\u00e4e. The second place women’s team consisted of Annika Koitmaa, Cliona Georgia Dalberg, Liis Kuuli, Marilee Linnas. Team captain Ulvi Ingver and advisor Joel Rothberg. Results<\/a><\/p>\n

Third place and bronze medal winners this time were the women of Rae Golf Club, who beat Tartu Golf Club 3:0. Rae team was made up of Annabel Kadak, Getter Saaroja, Iiris M\u00e4tas and Triin Marleen Ustal. Team captain Jana Raudvere and advisor Kadri Veskimeister. Results<\/a><\/p>\n

Fifth place for the women was secured by Valgeranna Golf Club, who defeated both Reval Golf Club and Otep\u00e4\u00e4 Golf & Country Club in foursomes matches. Sixth place went to Reval Golf Club, who defeated Otep\u00e4\u00e4 Golf & Country Club in the third extra round. Results<\/a><\/p>\n

Men Seniors<\/strong><\/p>\n

Men’s Seniors win went to Tartu Golf Club, who beat Estonian Golf & Country Club 2:1. The same teams were in the final last year. The winning team was made up of Ake Andressoo, Benno Maaring, Toomas Tamme and T\u00f5nu Tsernant. Team captain Viljar P\u00e4rnam\u00e4e and advisor Vadim Apuhtin. In the silver team were Jan Larsson, Gunnar Kobin, Raido Raamat, Taavi Truusa. Team captain Rain Uusk\u00fcla and advisor Peep Tammem\u00e4e. Results<\/a><\/p>\n

In a repeat of last year’s bronze medal match, the result was the same. Reval Golf Club defeated Niitv\u00e4lja Golf Club 2:1. The bronze medal winners were Ahti Niitsoo, Jaanus Turba, Raivo Velsberg and T\u00f5nu Vilipuu. Non-playing captain of the team Heiti Elster and advisor Rasmus Reimo. Results<\/a><\/p>\n

Fifth place this year went to Rae Golf Club, who beat Saaremaa Golf & Country Club 2:1. Results<\/a><\/p>\n

Seventh place went to the Valgeranna men’s seniors, who beat Otep\u00e4\u00e4 Golf & Country Club 2:1. Results<\/a><\/p>\n

Women seniors<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the women’s seniors final, the battle continued until the last hole. The title holder Estonian Golf & Country Club finally got theirs and defeated Tartu Golf Club 2:1. The gold medal winners on this occasion were Anneli Esken, Anu Uuem\u00f5is, Monica Pihlak and Riina Vettus. Team captain Rain Uusk\u00fcla and advisor Peep Tammem\u00e4e. Silver medals went to Anu Rebane, Eva Peedimaa, Reet Dalberg and Triin Anette Kaasik. Team captain Alice Andressoo and advisor Vadim Apuhtin. Results<\/a><\/p>\n

The bronze medals this year go to the ladies of Rae Golf Club, who beat Niitv\u00e4lja Golf Club 3:0. The medal winners were Jana Raudvere (playing captain), Siiri Haller, Sirje Eichelmann and Viivika N\u00f5mberg. Team advisor Kadri Veskimeister. Results<\/a><\/p>\n

Fifth place this year goes to Valgeranna Golf Club and sixth place to Saaremaa Golf & Country Club. In the match between the two teams, the P\u00e4rnans won 2:1. Results<\/a><\/p>\n
