A record number of participants, a high level of play, a lot of thunderstorms, a course record being threatened – that’s how you could sum up the Estonian Amateur Open by Tallink 2024, which was won by Topi Lindstr\u00f6m (Lahden Golf) and Elizaveta Sofia Reemet (Estonian Golf & Club).<\/strong>

\nThe third day of the tournament at P\u00e4rnu Bay Golf Links was led by the duo of Topi Lindstr\u00f6m and Kevin Christopher Jegers (Niitv\u00e4lja Golfiklubi). Unfortunately, the Finn already hit the gas with an eagle on the opening hole and never looked back, and if it hadn’t been for a short putt on the last hole, it would have been a repeat of the course record. The total score for the Finn was -18 (66, 69, 63). Worth mentioning is the fact that the Finn broke his driver on the opening day and maybe that was the secret of his success. Runner-up was the defending champion Richard Teder (Estonian Golf & Country Club), who made an eagle on the last hole to finish -13 (66, 72, 65). Ralf Johan Kivi took third place for clubmate Jegers with a final score of -10 (74, 66, 66). Jegers was fourth with exactly the same score (67, 68, 71).

\nThe women’s race was led from the opening day by Elizaveta Sofia Reemet, but a poor start on day three meant that by the end of the sixth run, she had been caught by defending champion Anete Liis Adul. However, this seemed to be a wake-up call and with a birdie on the seventh Reemet regained sole possession of the lead with a winning score of +11 (73, 76, 78). Adul eventually lost by five shots (78, 75, 79). A great last round put Nicky Zoe Lautre (Golfzon Leadbetter Academy) in third place with 85, 78, 71 (+18).
