Estonian Amateur Open starts tomorrow

Estonian Golf & Country Club’s Sea Course will host the prestigious Estonian Amateur Open by Tallink over the next three days.
A total of 126 players representing eight different countries will tee off. Among neighboring countries, Finland, Latvia, and Lithuania are represented, while players from South Korea, the USA, Germany, and the full Turkish men’s and women’s national teams add an international flair.

Last year’s participation record of 129 players was narrowly missed, but it’s encouraging to see an increase in the number of female players. This time, 33 women golfers will be competing.
There are 43 players with a plus handicap in the field, and 38 of them are ranked in the World Amateur Golf Ranking. Thirteen are within the top 1,000 of the ranking.

Friday tee times.
