Competition Summary

Estonian Match Play Open is an international championship for all male and female golfers. Estonian Match Play Open Masters will be announced on the 16th June after last the match.

Competition starts with qualification round on Friday morning after this 32 best male players and 8 female players gets placing to play-off table. All other players who doesn’t qualify to main competition can participate in extra competition. The logic of the formation of the match play is described in the competition manual.

Professional and non-professional players are also welcome to the competition.

The competition is recognised as a WAGR event.

Competition course

Pärnu Bay Golf Links is a real link in the best sense of the word – a beach strip with a sandy soil and a fern grass will test the abilities and skills of every golfer.
The trail was designed by architect Lassi Pekka Tilander and Mick McShane, who is known for his world famous St. Andrews Links’ Castle Course and Kingsbarns Golf Links.

The Pärnu Bay Golf Links is the first links type in the Baltics, covering both vast advancement areas, sand bunkers and multi-tiered giants for a smart golfer. The length of the Par-72 is 4500 to 6200 meters.

In addition to the 18-hole course, there are also 5 par 3 courses, suitable for beginners, practice areas for practicing both short-range and long-range strokes.

Visitors to Pärnu Bay Golf Links At the Gulf of Pärnu there is a wonderful clubhouse with 360 degree sea and green views. The building is already in the architectural sense a pearl inspired by the golf ball placed on the wing.
