Estonia once again proves to be the best in the Baltics

The seventh edition of the Baltic Champions Cup was played this weekend at Pärnu Bay Golf Links. Estonia took full advantage of their home course and secured a convincing victory. They beat Latvia 12:6, even though after the first day’s foursome matches the scores were tied at 3:3. Lithuania was defeated 15:3. Latvia took second place, having beaten Lithuania 10:8. Result

The Estonian team for this year included: Laura Kämäräinen (Tarinagolf), Anu Uuemõis, Anneli Esken, Anete Liis Adul (kõik Estonian Golf & County Club), Kristina Kuzmenok (Niitvälja Golfiklubi), Kirke Kiige (Rae Golfiklubi), Toomas Tamme, Benno Maaring (mõlemad Tartu Golfiklubi), Janar Toomesso, Karl Aru, Ruut Kangust ja Robin Udodov (kõik Estonian Golf & Country Club).

This was Estonia’s sixth win in the tournament’s history. Only in 2023, in Latvia, Estonia lost to the hosting nation. Next year, it will be Latvia’s turn to host the tournament, which began in 2019.
