EstAm: Finnish men dominating the leaderboard. The women’s leader retired

The second day of the first major competition of the golf season brought even more moody weather than the first day.  Due to the thunder the players had to have a break of one hour and 45 minutes. The leader in the men’s class was Markus Luoma, who played -3 or 69 strokes today and his two-day result was -2. The representative of the Helsinki Golf Club, who holds 614th place in the world amateur golf rankings, also had an eagle for the second day in a row. Juho Kurikka, who had the best score of the day, took the second place, adding 68 to yesterday’s 75 shots. Kurikka along with Eeli Kujanpää (70 today) had the final todays result of -1. On the fourth place we have Antti-Jussi Lintunen (today 71) who took the third place in 2019 EstAm, todays result was par. The fifth place is shared by Saku Halonen, Richard Teder and Carl Hellat. The first two have par, but Hellat’s rather unlucky start meant 76 strokes for him. Results
