Mattias Varjun ended the Finnish Tour with the 11th place

In the end of three day Finnish Tour opening in Nordcenter, Mattias Varjun was the highest placed Estonian, who finished with a score of +9 (73, 73, 79), giving 11th place in the final table. Of the amateurs, Varjuns score was worth sharing second place. The Finnish champion Lauri Ruuska won the opening stage, and Sami Välimäkis got the same result (-3) and followed the play-off track with the opponent’s birdie.

Mattias’s comment to the competition: “I managed to put together a good competition in difficult circumstances. I knocked the ball well, and the approach shots have also improved. Although the course was in good shape, the game was difficult for everyone. In my opinion, I was able to do most of it. ”

Marten Palm, who was still cut off from Estonians, finally got the 29th place with a result of +18 (77, 77, 80) and Carl Hellat with 39th place with +26 (84, 73, 85). Cut was not passed by Kevin Christopher Jegers +18 (81, 81) and Markus Varjun +21 (85, 80). In total, 108 male players entered the competition.

Anete Liis Adul, who was the only woman in the race to compete, also missed the cut this time. Her result was +33 (90, 87).
