Reemet rises to number one

Elizaveta Sofia Reemet has risen in the latest WAGR rankings published today to the first ever Estonian women’s number one position at 549. The hard rise was helped by the Croatian Junior Open she won last week. This is the highest position ever achieved by an Estonian woman in the world amateur golf rankings. Anete Liis Adul has also climbed to a personal best ranking of 580th and Karola Soe is also in the leaderboard, currently ranked 954th.

Among the Estonian men, Carl Hellat remains in the top spot, 493rd. Kevin Christopher Jegers is 629th, Mattias Varjun 671st and Richard Teder 788th. The Croatian Junior Open didn’t go the best for Ruut Kangust, but he has climbed to almost the top 1,000 and is now 1002nd. Ken-Marten Soo is 1128th, Markus Varjun 1473rd and Joonas Juan Turba 1601st in the latest rankings.
