Summer brings its own competition series to juniors

The Estonian Golf Association is pleased to announce that this summer all young golfers from Estonia and its neighbour countries will be able to take part in the Estonian Junior Tour, which covers all of Estonia’s largest golf courses. Within the competition, one-day tournaments are held on seven Estonian golf courses, and in addition, the Estonian Junior Open is also counted in the three older age groups.

The Estonian Junior Tour starts already in the middle of June on Pärnu Bay Golf Links course and ends at the end of August at the Estonian Golf & Country Club Sea Course. There is a total of eight competition classes (boys and girls separately): U9, U12, U16, U21. The youngest (U9) play in seven stages of the tour and from shortened teeing grounds. They are also required to have a caddy. Up to 12-year-olds (U12) can be accompanied by a caddy and are playing 18-holes in one-day competitions (7 stages) and also take part in the two-day Junior Open for their age group. The use of caddies is not allowed in the two older age groups, and 18-holes will be played both in one-day competitions and the Junior Open must be played for three days.

Tallink, Nike, Sportland and Balbiino will help us with the prize table also Tallink and Nike & Sportland will have special prizes to all players who participate in at least four stages.
