Richard Teder (Estonian Golf & Country Club) failed to become the first Estonian to have won the Finnish Amateur Championship. Unfortunately, +2 on the last day dropped him from a tie for the first place to third place (total result −8). Jesse Saareks snatched the win with the result −13. In addition to him, Niilo Mäki-Petäja (−9) also outperformed Teder. Daniel Moss Silva supported Teder as a caddie during the competition. Results

The best place that Estonian players have achieved in Finland so far has been Carl Hellat’s second place in 2020 when he lost against an eagle at the extra hole.
