The second tie brought the 19th place for senior ladies
The Estonian senior ladies’ team got a second tie on the last day against Slovenia, which resulted in the 19th place of their European Championship debut in Spain. The foursome pair Jana Raudvere / Viivika Nõmberg brought home a winning point. As many as three individual match plays ended in a tie. Results
In total, the Estonian team achieved the 19th place thanks to two tied matches against Hungary and Slovenia. The Estonian team comprised of Anneli Esken, Anu Uuemõis (both from the Estonian Golf & Country Club), Jana Raudvere, Viivika Nõmberg (both from the Rae Golf Club), Eva Peedimaa and Triin-Anette Kaasik (both from the Tartu Golf Club).
The home crowd helped Spain who was crowned winner after defeating Ireland in the final. The bronze medals belonged to the Swiss ladies’ team.
