Ken-Marten Soo takes a second place

Today the tournament ended at Ellendale Country Club golf course, where Ken-Marten Soo from Estonia played. The member of the Estonian golf team held on to the lead until the penultimate hole to share the victory, but then made a mistake on the par-3, hitting the ball into the bunker, but still managed to bogey out. The final three-round score of -5 came with rounds of 69, 69, 73. Soo, representing Estonian Golf & Country Club at home, also recorded two eagles in the two-day tournament. The Nicholls Intercollegiate at Ellendale tournament victory was nabbed this time for Soo by Logan Kuehn (Southeastern Louisiana) who carded a -6 (69, 71, 70), his home club also finishing as the team leader. Player commentary immediately after the final round: “I was happy with my game, I gave myself opportunities to make birdies. The whole competition was good, I made less mistakes than usual and that gave me a chance to score. Now we need to take stock and it can only get better from here.”
