XX Estonian Amateur Openi winners: Teder and Adul

The 113 golfers who braved three days of wind and rain at Pärnu Bay Golf Links found the best players of the 20th Estonian Amateur Open by Tallink. Richard Teder and Anete Liis Adul (both Estonian Golf & Country Club) were declared the winners.

The men’s class was won for the first time by Richard Teder, his three-day rounds were 70, 69 and 71 (-6 in total). Second place went to Ralf Johan Kivi (Niitvälja Golf Club), who lost by two strokes. Kivi’s rounds were 71, 71 and 70. Third place went to Finland, Veikka Viskari (Vierumäen Golfseura) had a score of -3 (68, 75, 70). The top three was followed by four players from Niitvälja Golf Club. Fourth was last year’s title winner Markus Varjun (76, 70, 70; +2), fifth Mattias Varjun (73, 72, 73; +3), sixth Carl Hellat (75, 73, 71; +3) and seventh Kevin Christopher Jegers (71, 73, 77). In the women’s class, Anete Liis Adul also got her first win of the European Amateur Open with a final score of +5 (77, 74, 70). Hannah Õunap (Valgeranna Golfiklubi; rounds of 80, 74, 72) was beaten by only five shots. Elizaveta Sofia Reemet (Estonian Golf & Country Club) took third place. Reemet’s scores were 76, 78, 77. Special mementos this time went to the Maltese representative Andrew Borg (Royal Malta) in the men’s mid-amateur and senior, Getter Saaroja (Rae Golf Club) in the women’s mid-amateur and Anneli Esken (Estonian Golf & Country Club) in the women’s senior.
